FIFF : carte blanche for the Fribourg International Film Festival

Last year, the FIFF partnered with filmfriend for the first time. This year, we are pleased to offer you a selection of often rare films and series that complement the "Genre Cinema: Thank You, Mom!" section. Echoing the FIFF selection, our collection also explores the universal theme of motherhood. This title, which can be interpreted both affectionately and ironically, highlights the diversity of maternal figures in cinema: single mothers, courageous women juggling professional and personal life, women facing intimate choices, sometimes including abortion, adoptive mothers, absent mothers, and more.
