For a time, Diana was considered the most famous and photographed personality in the world. Her marriage to Prince Charles, the designated heir to the throne of Great Britain, may have failed, but this did not diminish Diana's popularity. Biopic Diana focuses on Diana's affair with heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan, which lasted from 1995 until a few months before her accidental death in August 1997.
