Under the overall artistic direction of Andreas Dresen, the documentary film "20 x Brandenburg" was made in 2010. On the occasion of the 20th birthday of the state of Brandenburg, renowned directors each shot 15-minute short films with stories about the country and its people between Uckermark and Lausitz. Dresen explains: "Everyone involved is on a journey with a common goal, but everyone can look on things in their own way and make very different discoveries." The short films, shot in 20 different locations in the summer of 2010, reflect the diversity of topics from the state's regions. 300 broadcast minutes were cut from 10,000 minutes of footage. A rbb production, together with DOKfilm Fernsehproduktion GmbH Potsdam-Babelsberg.
