Films about photographic images and photographers
Long before pictures learned to walk, photography was "the" technical innovation of the 19th century. What was initially only a sensational scientific invention increasingly changed the way people experienced the world. The photographic image became a collective memory and at the same time much more: photographers developed their very specific techniques and individual touch - and the "freezing" of the reality established itself as a significant form of performing art.
Our collection brings together a number of photography films in an homage to Photographers and the Art of Photography.
